On July 13th 2005, Kirkridge lost on of it's best friends. Lucky was 26 years old.
He was an Anglo Arabian born on Feb 13th 1979. He was called Lucky because he was a twin. His sibling died at birth.
He brought a lot of joy to many who had the opportunity to ride him. It did'nt matter what a person's age or ability was, he was the smartest horse I have ever owned. He'd do his careful walk on "eggshells" for the new riders, or tempi-changes for my more advanced riders. Lucky seemed to fit the bill for everyone!
Lucky did his share of winning championships, but his kindness, and willingness made him the best horse anyone could possibly have!
We will always miss you Lucky.
